My school is hell. "People" just ignore the teachers and even admins. I heard a short white kid saying the hard R not long ago. Somehow, some way, I end up getting in trouble. School has taken a massive toll on my mental health. When I was little, I was very friendly and social. Now I`m shy and have a short fuse. Nothing is new and nothing ever changes. How I see school? Not a place to learn, but rather, a place that punishes you for your mistakes. The only thing that brings me joy there is band, I`m a percussionist. After that short 45 minutes, it`s back into the prison. My eye is still twitching hours after school. I am in between hating the school system and hating the students making it worse. Here`s how I feel a few hours in; tired, dehydrated, hungry, pissed off, sad, bored. I can`t sleep long because of the starting times and high expectations. I can`t have breakfast because of the starting times. I hate my "teachers". How can one go through so much and be expected to be alert and content? I`m in middle school but it feels like I walked into a damn maximum security prison. I have bad grades. Not because of my iq or memory, but because of how I am taught. I remember we went on a field trip, I think it was a military base, and I enjoyed learning there. It was more engaging and we were included rather than sat in a chair for hours on end.

Today I asked my teacher how do we make money? And she responded idk you tell me it’s not my job to tell you these usless things your here to study then she told the principal I offended her for some reason and you no what the principal actually believed her and scolded me for asking these questions.this is the reason school failing as an educational system right now if they can’t teach about stuff like money and taxes then how are we gonna learn how to be financially stable in the future

i had this spanish teacher who i loved in 6th grade. my class was her favorite and as a result, we had a lot of snacks and parties and fun. i thought she was a great teacher. then, she was also my spanish teacher in 8th grade, and perhaps it was because i was no longer in her favorite class so there was no more pampering, but i realized that she was a bad teacher. she actively discouraged people to expand their vocabulary and she only wanted memorization and conformity to the curriculum. she never actually taught us what the things we were memorizing meant, she just fed us a string of words to memorize and move on.

I've noticed that in current times they do. Tell you this is what you're working towards but. It's often very vague, something that you could fill with. Any dream that you have rather than the dream you specifically have. It has no real guarantee that the dream that you are striving for is the same thing. You're gonna get by doing all this. Man I am happy that I was born in Sweden. Because our schools have basically no problems whatsoever. For example when I choose to eat Launcher the school I did have free different Options to pick from. And if I didn't enjoy it somehow I was able to leave the school and buy a hamburger or a pizza for example.
